A grade 12 girl from Newfoundland discovered something cruel online. Some coward posted an anonymous online poll on the ask-fm website called “Ugliest Girls in Grade 12 and she was on it. The poll lets people make anonymous and mean comments about people they know & see everyday. When Lynne Cantwell saw this – she decided to beat the bullies with a Facebook post:

“To the person that made the “ugliest girls in grade 12 at hth” ask.FMstraw poll. I’m sorry that your life is so miserable that you have to try to bring others down. To the 12 people that voted for me to bring me to 4th place. I’m sorry for you too. I’m sorry that you don’t get to know me as a person. I know that i’m not the prettiest thing to look at. I know i have a double chin and i fit in XL clothes. I know i don’t have the perfect smile or the perfect face. But i’m sorry for you. Not myself. I’m sorry that you get amusement out of making people feel like shit. I’m sorry that you’ll never get the chance to know the kind of person i am. I may not look okay on the outside.. But i’m funny, nice, kind, down to earth, not judgemental, accepting, helpful, and i’m super easy to talk to. Thats the same for every other girl on that list that you all put down. Just because we don’t look perfect on the outside does not mean we are ugly. If thats your idea of ugly then i feel sorry for you. Like seriously? Get a life”

Sounds like Coldplay will be announced as the Super Bowl halftime headliner during halftime of tonight’s Thursday Night Football game between the Lions and Packers.

Rumor has it that previous Super Bowl performers Beyonce and Bruno Mars may make guest appearances during America’s biggest sporting event.

The Super Bowl happens February 7th in Santa Clara California – home of the 49ers.

Ding ding ding! REMATCH! UFC president Dana White says Ronda Rousey will get a rematch with defending bantamweight champion Holly Holm. While she didn’t say when or where – it will likely be awhile because Rousey is on a 6 month medical suspension from UFC while she recovers from the fight & the final kick to the head that did her in. White says, “Ronda Rousey has gone undefeated, taken the sport to another level and was beating the best women in the world in 14 seconds or 30 seconds, so she deserves a rematch,” he said. “Holly agrees she deserves a rematch, and we’ll figure it out.”
