Police say there is no indication that children were in any direct danger after a back door at C. R. Judd Public School in Capreol was shot at.

Bullet holes were found to have penetrated into the double pane glass of the door without going completely through.

No other area of the school was targeted and no one was injured.

The investigation has determined it happened after school hours…sometime between 4:30 and 6:10 pm Tuesday.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is taking the incident seriously and is working closely with the Rainbow District School Board to ensure parents, faculty and the community of Capreol are kept up to date with the ongoing investigation.
