Adele’s new album has finally been confirmed. According to Hits Daily Double, the record is set to be released this fall, scheduled to hit stores on November 20th.  Insiders say the new album will be Adele’s last record with Sony/XL. Meanwhile, the rumor mill is buzzing that the singer has signed a new deal with Sony -valued at more than $50 million. While the title of the album has not yet been revealed, the iconic singer will also take over NBC with four TV appearances, including the TODAY show and SNL. The other two appearances are said to be a prime-time special and possibly The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah revealed who the first four guests on the show will be: Kevin Hart will be kicking off the Monday night premiere, Tinder cofounder Whitney Wolfe is scheduled for Sept. 29, while New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is set for Sept. 30, and singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will make an appearance on Oct. 1. Adams will also perform a song off his Taylor Swift cover album. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Trevor Noah explains , “The first episode will be a reintroduction of the show,” he adds, “But you can’t just go off one episode like, ‘Oh I know what this is about, I know what this is.’ It takes a lot more time. You’re building a relationship. So what we’re doing is dividing the first week into a four-part miniseries that will set the tone for what we hope the show will be.” Former host Jon Stewart told the world he would be leaving The Daily Show back in February

Miley Cyrus – the face of MAC Coesmetics’ Viva Glam campaign – is causing some controversy in the UK. The independent regular of media advertising in the UK received 3 complaints about the ad, which is plastered on billboards and posters. The complaints claim the pop star is posing in a “suggestive” way with “a mirrored reflection of Miley Cyrus’ crotch”. MAC immediately fought back against the complaints, saying the images “were not overtly sexual since they featured no nudity or any hint of sexual activity including in her facial expression.” They went on to explain that “the reflected images of Miley Cyrus’ crotch in the mirrors were no more than what one would ordinarily see when walking along a beach with women sunbathing or by a pool.” Even though the regulator found the image to be “sexually suggestive” they decided to rule against banning the ad. Win for Miley!
