“Stand Up Against Bullying Day” being recognized in area schools tomorrow.

Staff and students are urged to wear pink to demonstrate their support and commitment to ending bullying in schools in our community.

The Director of Education at the Rainbow District School Board, Norm Blaseg says it’s all about safe schools.

“Stand Up Against Bullying Day” was started in Nova Scotia when two high school students arranged for dozens of others to wear pink shirts in support of a student who had been bullied.
