Explosives experts from CFB Petawawa were expected in Sudbury early this morning to investigate a suspicious device.

Yesterday afternoon while renovating a home on Frood Road, someone found what is believed to be an active grenade.

They called police, who then evacuated the home and called in the explosives experts.
