After being accused of body-shaming for posting a photo of an unsuspecting woman’s butt on Instagram, Michael Bublé has apologized.
“I regret that there are people out there who found the photo offensive,” he said in a statement to E! News. “That was not and is not my intention. Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered. I’ve spent my life believing that and will continue to do so.” Bublé adds that he meant the post to be “complimentary.” The picture in question, taken by Bublé’s wife Luisana Lopilato, showed the singer looking at the camera with a half-smile as he stands a few feet away from a woman in short-shorts.
